About Fox Valley Bible Chapel

We are a non-denominational Bible believing church in Wisconsin's Fox Valley. Our desire is to follow Christ Jesus as the head of the church, and meet according to the instructions that the Lord has given for His church (Acts 2:42). Part of our mission is to share the good news of Jesus Christ so that others may know Him as their Savior (John 17:3 & Ephesians 2:8-9). We find unity in our mutual faith in Christ and our desire to follow our Lord's Biblical pattern for the gathering of His disciples, those redeemed from every manner of sin and of every background. As followers of the Lord Jesus Christ, we aspire to display the love of Christ to others.

As did the very first gatherings of believers in the Bible, so we too meet together for teaching, fellowship, breaking of bread, and prayer. We also encourage young people's Bible studies, women's missionary outreach and Bible study, local evangelism outreaches and occasional Bible conferences. We network with other believers in our area, throughout the state, and throughout the world.

The elders welcome the opportunity to visit with you in person, or by phone, text, or email. Everyone is welcome to attend the meetings. We encourage those seeking God and the truth to contact us and we will be glad to assist with visitation and Biblical counseling. For those who already know the Lord and would like to join the gathering, we will be glad to meet with you and hear your testimony of how the Lord saved you by His grace. Believers who share our foundational beliefs by request and agreement of all are added to this local congregation. You can access our doctrinal statement under What We Believe.

Our History

Fox Valley Bible Chapel began in the fall of 1995, when five families began to meet for Bible study and to pray about God’s direction concerning the establishment of a Bible centered New Testament church in the Fox River Valley. A small group of believers began to meet in the name of Jesus Christ later that year in a home in Kaukauna. After three years and the Lord’s gracious care for the growth of this church, we started to regularly rent rooms from the village of Little Chute.

We have been functioning as a local church for over 20 years now with recognized elders and teachers. Over time, we have reached out to the communities of Little Chute, Kaukauna, Kimberly, Combined Locks, Darboy, Appleton, Oshkosh, Green Bay, Wrightstown, and Pulaski with the gospel of Jesus Christ on a number of occasions individually and through sponsoring special events. Today, by God’s grace we are growing as a family of God together. We associate with several summer Bible Camps and have sent missionaries both in the US and abroad. We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God from Genesis to Revelation. It is our sincere desire to honor our Lord and Savior by obedience to His Word- including a desire to follow Christ’s instructions for meeting as a local church.

Leadership

We believe in the plurality of elders functioning under the headship of the Lord Jesus Christ . More information on what the scripture teaches on leadership. We as a church seek to follow the Biblical pattern of multiple overseer/shepherds for the local church, raised up by the Holy Spirit, qualified Biblically, and recognized by the local flock.
